Hi!  Welcome to MT Forum.

My name is Kiran too Big Grin

Following are my favorite searching ways.  I hope you may like it.

1.  If you are searching for a exact word put them in quotes.  Like if you want to have pages with exact term Helicobacter pylori, then you should put them in quotes as "Helicobacter pylori"
2.  If you are putting quotes around the search term, then it shows the results containing exact phrases, pages with first word, and also pages with last word. For example, if you are searching Helicobacter pylori without quotes, then it will return pages containing Helicobacter pylori, Helicobacter, and pages containing pylori

3.  You can even do calculations right from Google.  Say if you want to convert seconds in minutes: put the search term like "360 seconds in minutes," then it will show results like this:

Enter calculations like 125+287, 120/23, 120+69-28 --- you will better understand how you can use Goolge as a calculator.

4.  When you are searching for a doctor's address, you just need to enter the doctor's last name and enter the hospital area, you will get full doctor's name with address and telephone and fax numbers.  Look at the below screenshot.

5.  Google offers auto suggestions, which are really useful.  For example if you are searching something like degenerative, it will suggest more related words that start with term degenerative like degenerative joint disease, degenerative disc disease, etc.  These are simple examples, when you start searching complex words, you will know how much time you can save.

6.  Set your homepage to http://www.google.com/ncr so that your browsers goes to Google.com instead of Google.co.inGoogle.com suggests all US related info, which are more relevant than India results.

7.  If you are searching for a particular word/words preceded by or followed by a known word, you can use asterisk (*) and quotes (") to get that exact word.

I hope this is useful for you.  If you still need help on a particular thing, just post it and I will try my level best to reply.

I think others members will suggest few more.

Do not ever be taken in or dream of becoming a home-based medical transcriber fresh after training. At least not until you have had 2-3 years full-time office-based experience in multispecialties.
