Need For Intro page - LEE76 - 29-01-2015
I think we need an introductory page about WHAT Medical Transcription is and also how it was, is and will be should be maintained. Since new comers will be truly enlightened and we will be the trendsetters. Main emphasis should be on the true facts not hurting anyone as lot of changes happened and are happening in this field. Hope admin maintains this section also just like "posting a job ad section" with the same seriousness.

We too thought of that. Members are not much interested in posting various other things related to the transcription. MT Forum has become like a job portal. If few of our senior members come forward to share their views, we can certainly start a section where they can share their experience and views on the current scenario of this field.

I am happy to know the interest shown in my post. Though I am not a very senior MT nor a new comer I can definitely share some experiences and info so that new comers are guided properly as I have seen so many queries interrelated to the field and the need for job. Definitely, I would try to give correct info without hurting or misguiding. I my self am at crossroads as this field came to India around 15-20 years back and so the changes. I am also doing my part of research which I hope will help others. My aim to ask for intro is people should not loose their precious time or money in taking improper decisions in regards to job hunting. Lets try to make it a professional trendsetter so that every one will respect our blog.

We request our members to comment on this and suggest a "section heading" for this. It will probably lead to better interaction among the members and make this forum more lively.
