Looking for MT/english language editing part time offers - themt10@gmail.com - 05-02-2013
Hi all,
I am available as an editor for 3 hours or so parttime evening work from 7 o'clock onwards. If necessary, I can continue working a couple of hours next day morning too.
I having been in this field for about 8 years now and am presently employed during the day doing direct work.
I am very, very fast in editing and can cover a lot of ground. I would prefer proofing mt work by transcriptionists, plugging in the gaps if necessary, although any other offers are also welcome.
If there are any English language-related offers, these are welcome too, athough I am not interested in business transcriptions or any other interview kind of jobs.
I know this is a bit unusal and sounds like a demand, but I am merely mentioning my availability and trying to make myself clear as to what to expect and what I am interested in.

If you are targeting editor position, you should be careful with your content.

After being 8 years in this line especially as an editor you are still looking for work? Does it not get boring? Like mt4life should you not be sourcing work from the States and getting MTs (MT is an abbreviation and pl do not take it as meaning what it sounds) like us to do the job (say @Re1/line) while you do the proofing and editing and make more money and, thereby, generate home-based MT employment for suckers who got into it by falling sucker to online trainers like Gopalarao Sureini & HQMT?

You should have guessed I did not proof it, but no excuses, the errors are there. But I tend to write what comes to my dumb mind...I believe what I wrote was off the cuff, but obviously, I mind my p's and q's with people that count. Oops, did I get that right?
