JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Medical Language Specialist is responsible for transcribing and/or editing dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care.
A Medical Language Specialist must consistently produce client-ready documents in accordance with the given standards without over-reliance on the quality assurance specialists for completion of report.
Transcription, including editing of dictated jobs processed through speech recognition technology, of medical dictation by physician and other healthcare providers, including the use of medical references, websites, quality feedback, and other educational materials to consistently ensure 99% or higher accuracy without over-reliance on quality assurance, while complying with the following employment requirements.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Graduates in any stream are preferred.
Minimum of 3+ year experience in MT field being a part of reputed firms.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts.
Should be willing to join immediately and be looking for a long term position.
Ability to work in all work-types and specialities.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, signs and symptoms, medications, laboratory values, and related MT guidelines and practices.
Ability to process files directly to the client without any further reviewing.
Excellent and proven communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure in the specified time constraints.
Excellent eye, hand, and auditory coordination.
Should take pride in their work and be quality driven.
Should be dedicated and disciplined self-starter with a solid work ethic.
