JOB DESCRIPTION:
The MT- Editor should be responsible for recognizing, interpreting, and evaluating inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation; appropriately edit, revise and clarify them without altering the meaning of the dictation or changing the dictator's style.
MT- Editor should organize and prioritize assigned work and schedule time to accommodate work demands, turnaround time requirements, and commitments. As a Team Leader, should demonstrate an understanding of policies, procedures, and priorities, seeking clarification as needed. MT-Editor should assist with the training of new employees as needed. They should contribute to team efforts and share information with co-workers and carries out assignments responsibly.
A MT-Editor should be aware and up to date of modern trends in the industry and developments in medicine, English usage, technology, and transcription practices.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience of 3+ years as a QA in the industry or equivalent proven experience being part of reputed firms.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts.
Ability to handle work pressure and key responsibilities.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Must be self-motivated, production-minded and quality-focused.
Sound knowledge of medical terminologies and exposure to multiple medical specialties by editing and proofreading of medical reports at the final level maintaining a minimum accuracy level of 99%.
