Why MT, DU, and editing rates in paisa are almost constant over last few years? Don't the companies hike their rates? They must be. In addition, companies get paid in dollars, and dollar price has constantly only gone up, but rate per line in paisa which MTs and editors here in India get is as it is. Why? Here prices of all commodities go up leaps and bound, but earnings of poor MTs never go up unless they put in more working hours and produce lines.
