We have been recieving a lot of queries, here is a list of FAQs
1. Since the client is so picky , what is the audio quality like
We have a large number of clients and for our Indian operation we have allocated a pool of the best dictators. All Indian typists will get the same set of dictators from this pool. The audio is very good but it takes time to understand the accent and formatting requirements of each dictator. Also dictator quality is a comparative statement. To some typists what sounds easy maybe hard for others. But the key thing is regular dictators so that typists get used to them. The pool is a set amount of dictators, the only variance being Australian holidays when the pool is low so Typists will have to type new doctors or whatever is available.
2. Is it VRE or manual typing
It is manual typing using the Emdat online software. VRE is not widely accepted in Australia unlike the US
3. Can I commit to x number of lines per day/month
We cannot have typists coming in adhoc and working an hour or two whenever they feel like and that is the reason why we insist on a committed number of hours or lines for HBTs. How much you do is upto you. Obviously the more you do the better it is .
4. Are there shifts or is this only a daytime job ?
There are no shifts. We encourage a healthy life work balance and do not condone night shifts unless the typists want to do it for monetary reasons
