I am glad to say that 8 members from the forum have contacted us so far and 3 of them have taken up the test and cleared, the others have been scheduled to test over the next week.

P.S. we still have Team Lead positions open, but preference is given to internal recruitment (which is a company policy) - so it is important for aspiring candidates to join and prove their worth; references and reputation do not count, only performance and merit.

I applied for the QA post 6 months back but did not give the test at that time.  Some details given at that time are different, now there is higher salary offered.  This offer is for the same qa position?

Yes there is a revised salary package since Aug 1st for the same position. We have tried to standardize the salary package across all platforms after we started on the eScription platform. Please call me to know more details.

No need to talk about skills to someone who types "so your recruit people who does not have skills" - yes, what a pity.

You will find bad apples everywhere; it is about what/how you do/deal with it...
Getting rid of it is the best option... but they can still find acceptance in other places. Good Luck!

This statement explains everything.  Hiding up jobs??  I guess some kind of hide and seek or TOM AND JERRY play going on inside the company.....Reduced from 64K to just 15-20k??  Imagine if it happens for three months....reduction is 120K???    Fat managers fill up their pockets nicely......Nearly 40K gone after hard work???  Huh!!!  OMG....Great company.  All forum members, to make things clear and easy there are statutory deductions in these companies which you do not get paid for no matter what.  It was after my discussion with these companies much earlier about 3 months back I realized how slaves are treated.

Hi, I don’t know what criteria client follows regarding template instruction, but at the end of the month they will send us line count in xl sheet with template deduction.  You can find attached and see. Macros line count will be deducted as per client.

In EMDAT platform, clients do pay for the macros at full rate. This is another way of duping.

Anyone want to see excel sheet...see the huge deductions......Strange tactics Big Grin

IF the manager doesnt know what client does, how can an employee know about his/her salary. It is high time that companies must think that MTs/Editors/PR/QAs too have families to shoulder responsibility and their well being. So messing up with people's lives for God sake. Imagine if this same situation was to happen to managers, how would they feel? NO FEELINGS because they dont ve any sensation tickling in their body, I guess!!! Big Grin

Stop all the bogus advertising and be real. Dont hurt others just for the company to be fat or managers big pocket. It will never get you anywhere. today, you may get away, but there is something called tomorrow...through another form it will strike you.....Learn to be honest first and advertise what is only expected. dont exaggerate or fool MTs/Editors/QAs.

Where are the so called trumpet these companies (some vultures) boasted of in scribbling odd things without reality?

Template deductions apart from other deductions.  

Simle mathematical sum:  Deductions minus template deductions = FAT HAPPY MONEY TRIGGERING MANAGERS (SPECIAL CATEGORY OF PLEASING SOME QAs ALSO INCLUDED) Big Grin HAHAHA!!!

Idata files are dead easy. But for some unknown reason they tell you did not get through the test and try 3-4 months later. I asked for compared docs but no reply.

If they dont have work, why do these companies simply put ad ? At least they can ask Admin to close the thread if there are no vacancies or promptly tell that there are no vacancies. What kind of professionalism is it/.

Gyan, sorry you couldn't make it. I would suggest, you should try going through the file(s) you submitted to us and share if you can find the reason(s) for not getting through... (not sure if you have the audio... but reading through the document might find you enough for an answer) - I am sure if you tried, you will find it yourself.

I can assure you, we are in so much need of good resources that we will not fail someone who had displayed some promise on the test batches...

We have inducted about 35 QAs in the last 3 months or so. We have been consistently getting new volume to warrant recruiting additional resources. We need at least 15 QAs at this moment. Our ADs have been on Naukri / Monster almost all along!

However lucrative the offers might be, in the end it is the MTs and QAs who need to check out these offers and see what is really in it for them.

You should know better what kind of recruitment you are doing in this Industry. Just can't say after 20 or 30 days to a senior QA that you are not selected, you need to justify your words as well. I have been polite enough you ask you the compare documents. 

Just by posting ads in some portals doesnt make you to be on the talking side as people like me spare time to do the test to know the outcome with clarity.

@Gyan Prakash.  Do not feel bad.  It is not worth joining IData.  I do not know why you applied for this company in the first place.  U should have gone through comments from other MTs.  Many vendors give test which consists of files of particular authors who use their own words in PE and RE in a fast way and standard sentences and formats which is difficult to decipher, which is easily available in samples on escription platform.  They know all these.   I am in this industry for 12 years.  Now also no QC from standard companies including Nuance or Mmodal fills blanks of difficult authors or new authors which I leave.  IData QC/trainer was also putting wrong words into the blanks I used to leave.  I took this matter with trainer in an email since it was not giving any meaning.  So do not feel bad.  No QC or TL is great.  I remember my first TL also having lot of blanks in his files if it is very difficult when samples are not available and really struggling at the end of the shift and asking even new MT to look at blanks since new or fresh ear can catch words after one has transcribed files.
