I hope you understand what you are blabbering...FYI NTS (Nuance) is the biggest provider of MT outsourcing and lakhs of MTs earn their bread and butter because of Nuance. Blaming Nuance for the dirty jobs of the vendors is not justified, especially in India where we take pride in earning a few bucks by cheating others.

Now for SMGC... I have personally worked for SMGC for 4 years (though I do not know its history before that). Now SMGC has lost Nuance due to some issues in August 2015 and the last I heard was they were diversifying into other fields.

From my personal experience for the 4 years I worked for them, Ravindra Sharma is a good human being who went out against all odds to pay the MTs on time even when the Nuance delayed payment for a month most of the time, which I am sure no other company will take the effort to do (I know of MTs who receive payment on 29th of the month because Nuance delayed the payment for some reason). In fact he was such a honorable gentleman to pay a part of the salary earlier than 10th in case of an emergency. In fact from my 13 years experience in this industry, i have met manager "friends" who apply maska malai and then slowly and steadily milk every last drop of your blood in the form of overtime and night duty when they get a new client, all the time citing the good "friendship" that we have, but when the payment time comes for the hardwork, they speak about the company rules and labor laws of India to prevent any hike in salary and any advance payment for any emergencies.

And for the information of the forum members.. it is not easy to become a Nuance vendor because Nuance is very particular about the infrastructure and the work strength of its vendors before outsourcing and they do yearly auditing of its vendors, which means the Nuance officials personally come down to the vendor's premises and talk with the managers and the owner and in fact they also sign an agreement before starting work. So the accusation of cheating and running away with money holds not water because the company is always there and the people are also there working under a signed agreement from Nuance with frequent auditing of quality of work and infrastructure.

As for Mr. Shiva Prasad, he is a gem of a person and it was because of him that my family did not starve when Nuance pulled out of SMGC suddenly at the beginning of August 2015. It was Mr. Shiva who understood our team's potential and "rehabilitated" us in the nick of time by recruiting us directly in Emerge Data bypassing all the recruiting process of that company and made sure that we earned a decent salary that month and also by helping us accommodate in the new company with the Nuance accounts.

I really am pained by such baseless accusations of Passerbys which results in genuine companies offering good salary getting sidelined.

In fact Emerge Data is offering a good pay for our team corresponding to our productivity and quality which according to my vast experience is the best in the industry, and I am thankful to Emerge Data and especially Mr. Shiva Prasad for saving my family from starving when I was rendered jobless at the beginning of the month and did not have any idea which company to rely on for continuing in this MT field.

I am sure a lot of MTs must have experienced this situation where they are thrown out of a company and do a trial and error method to search for a new genuine company, all the while losing their salary due to no work and have to forego a lot of their financial commitments.

And what is this new fashion of addressing the vendors in Philippines. What do you know about them. In fact due to the utter lack of integrity and professionalism in India, Philippines is inching ahead in the race for MT outsourcing and may overtake India in a few years and who knows, Indian MTs may have to relocate to Philippines if they want a MT job. From this I really doubt whether you are even an MT or just a passerby who tried his luck in MT and then decided that the grapes are sour.

I really hope these panchayat leaders who pass judgment on genuine companies take a deep look inside them to know who they really are and whether they are any worth to this industry which is feeding lakhs of hardworking people.

I also advise the forum members not to form an opinion about any companies based on the "shooting in the dark" comments made by passerbys to resolve their own personal grudge.

Do you have an idea how many people did not get paid for the work done through SMGC. If they are the good people you claim they are why the hell have they kept their phones switched off and not responding to phone calls of their former staff. You seem to be getting some cut for posting favorable reports about them. Shame on people like you. Pass on their changed numbers as you seem to have all their whereabouts, I can get you all the people that have not got their money from SMGC to call them.

Personal grudge my foot. You stupid do you know how it feels you work hard and don't get paid for it and have family to take care of.

What I understand is one person who worked for 4 years for this entity got help and pay.  Others who might have joined recently to few months old got burned with no pay.  One who got benefited is defending and the other who got burned is cursing.  Both are correct.

I really do not believe you are so naive to believe that I was the only person who benefited from SMGC for 4 years while the rest of the employees remained disgruntled.  As mentioned by me before, a panwala cannot become a vendor of Nuance by installing some computers and recruiting some people.  The Nuance people frequently come for the auditing of the work premises and also keep a strong check on quality of files.  Which makes me hard to believe that Ravindra could have cheated anybody while his company was among the top 10 vendors of Nuance.  In fact I was in Shiva Prasad's team and we were a group of 55 editors working for SMGC under Shiva and we can vouch for each others integrity and commitment towards SMGC as we were constantly in touch and took upon ourselves to produce a minimum of 35 K lines per month. 

In fact I really do not know why I am even defending someone or something here because I believe the proof of taste is in eating the fruit which I have tasted and enjoyed along with the rest of the 54 of our team members.  We are still happy after joining Emerge Data and we are still enjoying our work....In fact I should thank Shiva for motivating me to achieve 35k to 40k lines per month, which took my salary to an astronomical level.... which I think is achievable by each and every MT if he commits his time to his work instead of getting swayed by the dirty professional politics which has crept into every system in this country

Good for you, but it has nothing to do with what I wrote.  There is one individual cursing and one defending on this forum, so I just guessed what could be the logical conclusion.

Start looking for work elsewhere, this network that you are working in is going to be crushed within end of January 2016. You enjoy the line count that you have because of the quota system that runs in this nexus between "NTS internal" guys and vendors. The quota system that these guys have an understanding with vendors is under tight scrutiny by the CEO and HR Team and few good people at NTS. Even if these guys who lack integrity are going to set their act straight they will be questioned for their past deeds...all their benami bank account they get their kickback in has been taken care of. All the best.

I really pity your persistence and obstinance for something that does not exist.  Your prediction for January 2016 is equally ridiculous as is the allegation about quota system.

For your information, I earned the 35K lines with hardwork and not because somebody threw a easy account on me.  For confidentiality's sake, though I am not at freedom to reveal the accounts that I do, I would like to put in on the table that the accounts I do have been moved from other vendors due to quality issues for us to work on to prove our worth when we joined Emerge Data.  It is my hardwork and 13 years of mt experience and my medical background that made me achieve this.

In fact when I discussed this post with my fellow team members, they told me to go eat sleep drink and enjoy during this holiday season and rejuvenate myself for the increased workload post the holidays instead of justifying to the losers in this industry who broadcast their opinions all over the net and that I would not be earning a single paisa going after these people who are too numerous to count.

This is what is the attitude of those MTs who earn a lot and enjoy to the maximum.

Actually me worked there in SMGC for two years and as far as I concern it was a good company with correct payment system so and so and Siva was the person who made me to stick on there throughout these years and I too did not get one month salary nearly 25000 rupees and when I contacted Siva he gave me a hint that SMGC wont survive that much so try to find out job somewhere else, so I quited with two of my friends and what I heard is the  MDs of that company were not strictly following the rules of Nuance(that Siva told me like that, so he also going to join in another company as CEO).  AND THE WORST THING AGAIN IS ME AND MY FRIENDS ALSO LOST THESE MUCH OF AMOUNT, WORKING HARD DAY AND NIGHT AND ME BEING A KERALITE NO CHANCE TO CONTACT THESE GUYS AND LOST ALL

What you people need to do is send all SMGC people details to Nuance reporting that they did not pay you.  At the least, Nuance will not contract with these guys again.
