It seems like everybody is quite inflamed by my presence. I would like to mention that earning in MT industry is not directly related to being a veteran or a newcomer or how many stars you got in this forum. I know people who have slogged for 15 to 16 years in this industry and consider themselves as veterans and still not able to earn enough to meet their monthly expenses or are very hesitant to take new job offers because they become quite attached to a certain company. Though I would not like to boast about myself, but since the matter has come to head, I would like to mention that I am earning on an average of 40 k per month and this not because I am a veteran or I have earned any stars, its only because I keep my eyes and ears open to the best offer in the industry. If I come across a good offer, I join that company as partime for a few months initially and then if feasible, work full-time for them, and until now I have never been rejected by any company on the basis of my quality. By doing this, I can know whether the company is paying on time or whether they are recruiting someone to acutely flush out their backlog files and then stop giving work or whether they are recruiting MTs to handle the poor quality dictations only. Always have at least 2 companies as backup, since from my experience I can say that especially people who are working on a line count basis will have a dip in their volume during certain times of the year and if you have a backup your earnings will not be significantly affected. I have no personal grudge against anyone nor am I here to influence anyone's decision. My only and last message in this forum is that in MT industry you can only earn more than others if you keep your eyes and ears open for the best offers.... after all the rule of the game is --- more rate per line = more you earn

@siby
Instead of creating melodrama here like saying "my last message here" and "nobody loves me here" kind of stuff, you should have first attempted to sufficiently address the genuine concerns raised in the other threads, especially when you are faced with the facts. The amount of enthusiasm you intiallly showed backing up certain people you have now failed to show when things have heated up. We all thought you were a fighter what with the caustic comments you spray on all the threads, but instead you are running away now dodging the whole issue putting up a lame excuse.
@gokul
Your comments were never worthy enough for me to give a response anyway. My only motive was to create a new trend in this forum where people contribute something useful.. like posting in this forum the company they work for and the rates and the work environment, so that others in this forum stand to benefit and develop their career in this industry. I have already invited you to post any good companies offering good rates so that we all are benefited. But as I see you waste your time in inconsequential and worthless pursuits and I have come across a lot of peole like you in my career who are not able to make a mark in this industry and create all sorts problems to discourage genuine people who want to develop their career. Therefore I do not consider you worthy enough a person to deserve any response for your gibberish (anybody can see that the comments that you posted were not useful for anyone in this forum career-wise, except that some sadists had fun humiliating a person who wanted to create a new trend). Anyways, there are still a lot of good and intelligent people who visit this forum and I humbly request them to log on and post good companies offering good rates so that we have a lot of good options. I will keep visiting this site to learn about those companies and also keep posting about good companies which I come across |
