JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Medical Language Specialist is responsible for transcribing and/or editing dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care.
A Medical Language Specialist must consistently deliverclient-ready documents in accordance with the given standards without over-reliance on the quality assurance specialists for completion of report.
Transcription, including editing of dictated jobs processed through speech recognition technology, of medical dictation by physician and other healthcare providers, including the use of medical references, websites, quality feedback, and other educational materials to consistently ensure 99% or higher accuracy without over-reliance on quality assurance, while complying with the following employment requirements.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Minimum of 1+ year experience in MT field being a part of reputed firms.
Should be ready to work in rotational shifts.
Should be willing to join immediately.
Ability to work in all work types and specialties.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, disease processes, signs and symptoms, medications, laboratory values, and related MT guidelines and practices.
Excellent and proven communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Excellent eye, hand, and auditory coordination.
