Hi all! 

Wonder why only escription platform jobs are offered.  
This request is for admin.  As suggested earlier, the need for proper introductory section has become absolute necessity since the posts are coming with many queries and some enlightment about various platforms, their ups and downs, market demands, requirements, technicality needs to discussed and shared so that any member has some knowledge before applying.  

Escription and Triton as far as my knowledge goes are very good latest platforms in terms of speed and accuracy and database accessibilty with Escription 11 best provided the voice quality is not very bad.   Escription 11 does not have advanced volume controls like in Windows media player or DSS.  




So based on this info guys I would like members with experience and proper information to continue this thread.

Escription 11 platform is not good.  It does not offer good editing area (space) like it is in escription 9 after hiding demographics part.

Thanks for the early reply and creating a section.  Will try to contribute worthy facts.  

As said, yes! Escription has loopholes not supportive for the MTs who are facing tough dictators day in and out so is the Triton with slow loading database which effects line count and TAT.  


Also, for the admin, another request  since by 2016 most of the MT work needs to be automated (VR) there is a huge need to best editors.  I am refering to the English grammar.  So my suggestion is to improve ALL the grammar with spellings and all, leave  the undecipherable words.  

So after intro my request would be for blank busting.  

Anybody needs help or would like to know about the vocabulary should be posting here.
