Some companies are making it mandatory for home transcriptionists also to work in night shifts for three months in a year or one month night shift and then next two months day shift and then again one month night shift, then again two months day shift. This type of compulsory night shifts are not good and fair as people are adapted for a sleep cycle. Changing it often not goes well and they cannot sleep during daytime. Some people cannot sleep well during daytime as they cannot sleep in day light. Darkness induces the sleep activating hormone. In daylight this hormone will not become active. So I think MTs express their unsatisfaction to this type of mandatory night shift especially for home transcriptionists.
