increase in cpl/salary
#1
What a swinger of a month we have had with the furious battle between employers/MTs recently.  I for one was particularly thrilled because of not having had proper response in the past over the same issues of employers screwing MTs for all it was worth and the way they vanished when they were pushed by the various MTs for details.  It is nice to see the spirit with which the MTs went after the employers and their pathetic attempt at justifying/hitting back at perfectly reasonable questions.  I wish this had taken place on "Adalat."  I would take particular pleasure in seeing these people squirm with their mindlessness and greed.

Now on to more pertinent and current hot topics...I understand the guberment has increased the public sector's income by 23%.

Now all of you private sector medical transcription ass**les (read MT companies), how about an increment in the payroll of each and every employee in this field?  It is way past time...The dollar is going uuppp, and still you stingy bums are sticking to the same old rate...kitna kamana hai, abe? Upar jab jaoge saath me khoon se kamaya hua rogda lejooge kya?  Kuch daan karo .... taaki MTs tumhara marne par agarbatti kamse kam jalayenge...

60k sounded so good I nearly resigned and got onto the next available Ola boat (Chennai is not shining but sinking due to the cyclone so no proper transportation) to meet good ol' Varsha (sorry for the pun).  Now I am not so sure kyonke kaaam ke alava khali buk buk karti rehti hai.  You are yet to inform us how 40K/60k can be earned.

I will not be replying to the miserable "outraged" comments following this.  No point in meaningless arguments.  I, however, will reply if meaningful employers fall at my feet in tears informing me brokenly that they have seen the light (not $$$) and of course, they immediately will release their funds from their soiled dhotis/lungis (disguise), etc. etc. and we can give them our wholehearted support for entering into politics and hopefully support for their kissa kursi ka bid.

Meanwhile, the show goes on....

the argument was a real bang bang, but we should note that dodecan was beating a burnt bush or a dead log.. Blue matrix as a company or varsha as an individual is not worth a cent on this forum anymore.  In fact Blue Matrix must be fuming to have employed varsha in the first place.

On the more technical side.. MTs have to realize that nobody will pay them Rs. 1.50 for doing ... say 10k lines per month.  We have to understand the dynamics of MT business... the more lines you do for the company.. the higher slab the company gets paid from the client.. and in turn you get paid higher.. So at the end of the month its the lines that you have done which proves your worth.  If you do 30k to 35k lines per month, I am sure you will get paid at least 1.40 or even more and that translates to 1000 to 1300 lines a day

Hi Siby,

I can relate to your argument to some extent, but then I consider this very unfair.

Not on an average basis but on a day-to-day and file by file basis the MT is supposed to deliver 99.9% accuracy on a salary basis for years without showing anything for it?  I would readily agree with you if there was some increment on a yearly basis in keeping up with the inflation and more importantly, being appreciated for your work.

What about the soaring overhead costs and the cost of living?

As I have remarked in my previous posts, the dollar has gone up considerably meaning more moolah to the MT employers.  Why is this not taken into consideration when arguing against giving that bit extra to the hardworking MTs without whom the company would close up?  Don't tell me the poor employers are still paid what they were receiving a few years ago and that the dollar rate is still what it was years ago.

No matter what the argument, there is a quantum leap in income for employers while employees are still stagnating.

Now I can relate to the fact that there are two sides to a coin and good MTs are hard to come by.  I also agree that all MTs are not necessary up to the mark since I have seen this myself too.  There are too many whiners and gripers who only ask first how much they can earn and then talk about the work.  Everyone wants to become billionaires yesterday without slogging.

But then perhaps proper incentives would make better potential MTs to give that extra effort plus make working conditions without partiality, selective allotment of work or whatever causing resentment among employees?

Someone once told me,"If an employer showed more appreciation by merely patting an employee on the shoulder" that employee would put in more effort with the knowledge that his/hard work is being appreciated and noticed rather than getting an increase in payroll.  Pure psychology but it works, instead of being identified as a mere number or a mechanical robot to be discarded at will.

Just a thought and so on and so forth....

Are you referring to MT companies that are registered under "The Companies Act, 1956" or all companies in general because almost all job ads here are posted by BICHOLIYAS. Most are taking work from other vendors of Nuance or from Nuance itself. Ab nanga nahayega kya aur nichodega kya.

Very good post.  Everybody needs increase in payments.

But you have to answer following questions and post your answers in this forum and you will know answer to your questions?

1.  Where this medical transcription work originate, India or USA?
2.  Does India only does medical transcription work?
3.  What are the MT rates in countries like Bangladesh and Phillipines?
4.  Are we competing with other countries for this MT work?

If rates in other countries are higher than India then our rates should go up.  If rates there are less, then our rates should go down and salaries can decrease?

Work came from USA to India only because labor is Cheap in India than USA and we know English.  If we will remove our cost advantage or some other country will remove our cost advantage then this work also leave India.  This has happened with BPO already, big companies like GE have moved to other countries like Philippines.

Do some research and post here.

Thanks

@them10@gmail.com.  Hello main sirf bak bak nahi karti !!!I had elaborated it very clearly.
Now again once I am repeating see below

2.10 paise for DU. if you complete 30,000 Lines per month then you multiply 30,000 *2.10= 63000 Rs. per month

Now again I have repeated- This is the income of MTs ok and on this they can hit the inflation and live a lavish life rather than other Industry workers.

Your life is far, far, far better sitting in one place, that too at your own residence no transportation no travel ling and get paid directly in your account still you are unhappy person in this world.

Your life is far, far, far better than the farmers who owes seeds in the soil with no guarantee of water and climate only depends upon the nature.

He has to put his own money in soil including his sweats still no guarantee, neither Government gives them any security nor any Forum where in farmers can express their views still he is loyal to his soil and every year keeps on ploughing his farm.

@them10@gmail.com   Dont forget that US, UK provide the work to India and had increased the employment as Indians were coming  across major problem of unemployment, employers started In house employees to recruit, then started HBT work in which one can sit at home and work. In that also still you are unhappy and blaming the employers.

MT's are still earning good and are drawing handsome income.

@ Blue Matrix @ Varsha Mam

First let us assume that your company is not a fraud company.

Kindly let us know one thing why the hell a MT has to join your f*** company ?? (with your payment date being 28th i.e. Payment of Nov 1st to Nov 30th work will be paid on December 28th or even later i.e. as and when u receive payment from ur client - this is according u what u have mentioned in this forum) when there are lots of GOOD/GENUINE companies out there paying promptly on or before 5th to 7th or at least before 10th with better rates than your company.  What is so special in your company that MTs should consider ur offer by rejecting other GOOD/GENUINE companies with PROMPT PAYMENT on or BEFORE 10th??? another thing i noticed is that none of your employees (you mentioned you have 100+ employees work for you) either senior/middle level management people or for that matter any MTs, QAs, or HBTs or any staff  from your company coming out in this forum and try to defend you or your company's?  (Please note that you mentioned here that you got more mts and hbts from this forum)

Please reply mam.......

Ignore the unwanted in-betweens..

I think themt10 presented a broad picture here and let us stick to that..

In 2015, you do 30k to 35k lines per month and get 1.40 per line.. What's it in 2016 or in 2017 and so on??
