Does anyone has any idea of a company called British Orient, whom they say, operating in Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai.

Do anyone know about their working style and atmosphere, kindly let me know pls. if not here, then kindly mail me.

Having been part of this company for almost 8 years does not give right to me to bad mouth the company which has been with me through thick and thin.  There are a few things I would want to tell people who want to join this company.

1.  Bucketing is the name of survival here.  The more you are a YES MASTER the more favourable is the environment for working, be it in-house of HBT.
2.  Office politics.  This does not limit itself to the office premises but will follow you home if you seek HBT.
3.  The company is run by the HR and not by the owner, HR manager has the final say regarding anything at all.
4.  Hard work is not appreciated, so do not overdo or exert yourself, it will be of no use.
5.  If they want to remove you, they will somehow in the name of quality, for a comma, full stop or missed word.  Same holds good for deductions in payment in the name of quality.  They have their own internal audit team, whose salaries come from the cuttings they make from employees salaries.
6.  Crossing the hurdles of bucketing, and quality, payments are prompt when you work for  British Orient Infotel Pvt Ltd, but not its vendors and sub-vendors who are spread across the length and breadth of the country.
7.  Spellings are Queen's English and no American English allowed.
8.  Top management (8 managers including CEO, some 6 Team Leads) are the only one's consistently working with the company, rest all are use and throw material.

Apart from the above its  a wonderful company to work with.
