How much do on line companies usually pay per line??

I currently work for a cardiologist group (at home) who pay 14 per line (high I know) but the work has also dried up due to them putting in a system where the doctors input their own work... I have gone from 40 plus hours a week to about eight. I applied to some on line sites and it looks like 8 cents a line??? YIKES...seems low or normal?

It does seem to be a good rate. I used to get around 3 cents per line for easy dictations without proofreading. If i do the client ready transcripts, then they were paying around 5 cents.

Are you kidding me? You are an Indian MT. You will get rates like 3, 4, & 5 cents. The original poster is an American. There is your difference.
